РАННІЙ ДИТЯЧИЙ КАРІЄС ЗУБІВ. СУЧАСНИЙ ПОГЛЯД НА ПРОБЛЕМУ

Незважаючи на стрімкий розвиток стоматологічної науки та появу сучасних технологій і можливостей, ВООЗ включила карієс зубів до шести хвороб сучасності, профілактика яких є головним аспектом сьогодення. Початковий карієс – одне з небагатьох захворювань, яке може супроводжувати людину протягом усього життя, починаючи з раннього дитячого віку. Ранній дитячий карієс є міжнародною проблемою охорони здоров’я як у країнах, що розвиваються, так і в промислово розвинутих країнах. Висока поширеність каріозних уражень зубів у дітей зумовлює необхідність розроблення і проведення, перш за все, ефективних сучасних методів профілактики цієї патології, що матиме не лише позитивний вплив на стоматологічне здоров’я дитини, а й забезпечить відносно низьку вартість порівняно з лікуванням.

Ключові слова: карієс, поширеність карієсу, інтенсивність карієсу, заходи та засоби профілактики карієсу.
