CHANGES IN MOTIVATION TO STUDY AND THE PSYCHO-EMOTIONAL STATE OF FUTURE DOCTORS IN THE REALITIES OF WAR

The relevance of the research article is determined by the traumatic events during the war in our country, which affect the psycho-emotional state of citizens and the everyday activities of society, including obtaining higher education. The purpose of the study was to find out how wartime affected the psychological state, motivation to study and future goals in the lives of students of the 4th-6th year of the medical faculty of the Poltava State Medical University, as well as what means for learning the material, at the current stage, for students higher education are a priority. The material for the research was an anonymous survey of the specified group of respondents. A significant deterioration of the psycho-emotional state of 90% of respondents during the full-scale enemy invasion of Ukraine from February 24, 2022, in the form of a feeling of fear, apathy, depression and panic attacks, was revealed. But at the same time, the survey revealed that our future doctors remain motivated to study, patriotic, see their future in our country as highly qualified specialists. Students of higher education consider electronic systems, information technologies and cooperation with teachers to be the priority means of learning.
