THE PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF SOYMILK UNDER EXPERIMENTAL DIABETES MELLITUS

In the experiment on 30 male rats the influence of soymilk (2g/100g of live mass) on the level of blood glucose and state of the animals after the semi-introduction of alloxan (100mg/kg) was studied. It was determined that daily use of soymilk does reduce the level of hyperglycemia by the 31st day, normalize organic indices of liver and especially pancreas, also impede loss of weight, observed during development of diabetes.
