PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF JUNCTION STRENGTH IN THE SYSTEM “TOOTH ROOT-CEMENT-INLAY” IN DEVELOPMENT OF DISMOUNTABLE STUMP INLAYS

The paper deals with physical and mechanical aspects of the “tooth root-cement-surface of the metal inlay” system functioning. These issues are especially important during prosthesis of the teeth after complicated endodontic treatment when there is no possibility to achieve strength of this system by the mechanical way.

On the basis of the data presented the authors developed the optimal construction of the inlays in the similar clinical situations and proposed recommendations in pairs “fixation cement — inlay metal”.
