POTENTIALITIES OF CONTEMPORARY METHODS OF DOPPLER ULTRASONOGRAPHY FOR EVALUATION OF TUMOR RESPONSE TO THE COMBINED-RADIATION THERAPY IN PATIENTS WITH EXTENDED FORMS OF CERVICAL CANCER

The aim of the present study is evaluation of ultrasonography by the methods of color and energy Doppler mapping for objective assessment of tumor response to combined X-ray therapy in patients with extended cervical cancer IIB–IIIB.

According to results of the conducted analysis it was made a conclusion that use of ultrasonography by the methods of color and energy Doppler mapping allows to give an objective estimation of cervical tumor response to combined X-ray therapy in patients with cervical cancer.
