Academic integrity is based on such valuesas: honesty, truth, transparency, respect for others, accountability, justice, equality and socialjustice, democratic governance, quality education, self-improvement and system improvement. The seareconstant indicators of purposeful personalities.
The goal: to strengthen the quality of education bypreventing violations of academic integrity by participants in the educational process.
Policy and technologies for preventing violations of academic integrity at ONMedU are systemicandare implemented by creating regulatory and legal procedures and introducing institutional foundations. All the listed measures contain guideline saimedat supporting modern academic values, academic integrity amon gall participants of the educational process, which is the basis of the culture of Odessa National Medical University. The promotion of academic integrity is implemented through the inclusion in the lesson plans of students of the “Academic Integrity” discipline.
The library of ONMedU provides constant infor mational and methodological support with literatureon legal aspects and responsibility for plagiarism. In addition to train in gaccording to the discipline program`s, the principles of academic integrity are popularized during intermediate and final certifications of applicants and meetings. Conferences andmeeting sarealsoheldto explain the principles of academic integrity. Medical and advisory work, carefor the sick and wounded, work involunte erorganization sare an example of high humanism, stability and humanity of the educational staff of ONMedU.
So, summarizing the result so fmodern educational processes, wecan sayth at academic integrityin Ukraine, as wellasin European education, should become the normo flife for every personin volved in the scientifican deducational space. On lysuch steps will give impetusto equality, openness, justice, quality and honesty of research and improve ment of the quality of education. Accordingly, this will provide an effective impetusto the sustainable development of civilso ciety and its economic sectorsin Ukraine.
