STATE OF THE THIOL-DISULPHIDE SYSTEM IN THE PATIENTS WITH ACUTE CHOLECYSTITIS

As a result of the conducted researches it was established, that the acute cholecystitis is accompanied by reactive modifications of the patients’ thiol-disulphide system. The conducted researches also allow to clarify, that with the age an appreciable lowering of buffer capacity of the nonspecific resistance thiol-dependent systems in patients before the operation is supervised, that has the negative effect for the postoperative period. The rate of the thiol-disulphide system recovery in patients operated on for acute cholecystitis, is in direct relation to this system state before the operation and the age of the patients.
