THE INFLUENCE OF PHYTOESTROGENS ON BONE TISSUE AND THE DATA OF MINERAL METABOLISM AT EXPERIMENTAL PERIODONTITIS IN RATS

The preparations of soy isoflavones EKSO and IFSO reduce destructive-resorptive processes in the bone tissue of an alveolar bone at periodontitis in rats. There was reduction of calcium concentration in blood due to its mobilization to osseous tissue, being confirmed by the real increase in calcium contents in alveolar and femoral bone. The considerable increase activity of osseo-specific alkaline phosphatase in blood serum and bone mass density of femoral bone was revealed. The preparation IFSO, which contains cleared isoflavones in the aglican form, shows more expressed osseous properties, than EKSO.
