As a result of conducted researches it was proved that in adult rats under the total γ-irradiation by a once-only dose of 5.82 Gr in 7 days after exposure the changes in the functional state of the kidneys appear against a background of expressed proteinuria. At the same time, glomerular filtration partially restores thanks to normalization of the nitrogen oxide metabolism. This shows quite high resistancy of the kidneys to the γ-irradiation and considerable functional reserve of this organ.
