THE ROLE OF RADICALS IN LIPOPROTEIN PEROXIDATION IN HUMAN BIOOD PLASMA

It is known that the lipoprotein peroxidation plays a cause or attendant role in many diseases. The role of radicals in this process is the central problem in its studying because plasma lipid peroxidation includes numerous chain reactions. In this work on the basis of simulation POL in human blood plasma, the kinetic role of water and lipid radicals is studied. The quantity of these radicals has been determined in peroxidation process. It consists from 10-9 М for peroxyl radicals LOO• to 10-13 М for superoxide О2• and 10-15 М for hydroxyl radicals ОН•w in water compartment and 10-16 М for OH•lip on lipoprotein surface. It was found that peroxyl radicals are the main radicals that determine the kinetics of accumulation of lipid hydroperoxides.
