THE CONDITION OF PEROXIDE LIPIDS‘ OXIDATION AND THE ANTIOXIDANT SYSTEM ACTIVITY IN BLOOD SERUM OF RATS IN EXPERIMENTAL ACUTE PNEUMONIA MODEL ON THE 4TH DAY AFTER INTRANASAL INFECTIONING WITH STAPHYLOCOCCUS AUREUS DEPENDING ON THE SEX OF ANIMALS

In experiments on rats there was investigated the correlation between POL processes and AOS activity, in acute pneumonia depending on time of animals’ infectioning and the sex.

It was revealed, that on the 4th day after animals‘ infectioning with staphylococcus aureus — the DK, MDA levels and AOS — SOD and catalase decrease. In males these pricesses are more expressive, than in females, that testifies to an exhaustion of the antioxidant system functional reserves with a prevalence in males.
