EFFECTIVENESS OF MASSAGE IN PROPHYLAXIS OF VEGETATIVE-EMOTIONAL AND HEMODYNAMIC DISTURBANCES IN PREGNANTS IN THE RISK GROUP OF PREECLAMPSIA DEVELOPMENT

110 pregnant women from risk group of preeclampsia and 20 healthy pregnant women with physiologic course of pregnancy were examined. It was shown, that patient management with special massage therapy course in the I-st trimester promotes decrease in frequency and severity of the vegetative-emotional complains, index of reactive anxiety, improvement of circulation in the vessels of cervical and thoracic sections of the spine.

Effectiveness of the massage therapy in normalization of psycho-emotional sphere of the pregnant women, improvement of hemodynamic indices without negative influence onto either the mother or fetus was established. Further investigation of the possibility of rational inclusion of massage therapy courses for pregnant women either with other complications of pregnancy or for prophylactics and treatment of disadaptation syndrome is needed.
