STATE OF FETAL-PLACENTAL COMPLEX IN ω-3 POLYUNSATURATED FATTY ACIDS THERAPY IN MATERNAL CYTOMEGALOVIRUS INFECTION

Analysis of pregnancy course, childbirthes and newborns state in women with verified cytomegalovirus infection testifies to obstetrical complication and birth of children with grave somatical pathology. Inclusion in therapy medication of ω-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (Epadol) together with Viferon leads to improving the pregnancy course, its prolongation, reduction of risk of premature birth and infant birth with grave lesions of internal organs. Epadol therapy improves parameters of fetal-placental and fetal blood flow, decreases lesion of placenta bloodstream and endotheliocytes alteration.
