COMPARATIVE NEUROPHARMACOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF PROMEDOL AND CLONIDINE ACTION PECULIARITIES IN CONDITIONS OF EXPERIMENTAL “PSYCHOSIS”

The effect of promedol and clonidine on functional status of a set of brain structures and painful perceptibility in experimental «psychosis» was studied. The results of the research have shown that these drugs changed functional activity of brain structures. Therefore promedol decreased pain barrier in rats and oppressed apomorphine-induced aggression, but clonidine does not change analgesic activity.

It is assumed, that such changes of pharmacological answers to the preparations actions in modelling pathology are explained by the functional activity rebuilding of limbico-reticulo-neocortical system formations.
