TACTICS OF SURGICAL TREATMENT IN SEVERE TRAUMATIC DAMAGES OF SPLEEN

After detailed studying of spleen angioarchitecture particular features, authors have worked out and introduced the method of subtotal organ resection in cases of traumatic spleen damage of IV–V degree into the clinical practice. Essence of the method is in keeping parts of spleen parenchyma around the intraorganic branches of a. lienalis of 2nd level. Eight patients have been operated by means of this method with good clinical results. Postspleenectomy syndrome has not been registered.
