THE COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF MALE AND FEMALE POSSIBILITIES IN BASKETBALL

We have examined 106 high skilled basketball players (25 men and 81 women) aged 15–38 years.

The absence of trustworthy differences on many indices of central hemodynamics and relative physical ability to work in men and women gives evidence about resemblance of their functional condition, that creates premises for their sporting scores rapprochement. Correlation analysis has recorded the existence of different degree interrelation between the indices studied in men and women.
