FUNCTIONAL CONDITION OF THE IMMUNE SYSTEM IN EXPERIMENTAL TOXIC HEPATITIS

In the article dynamic changes of indices of different links of the immune system in conditions of experimental toxic hepatitis are observed. It is ascertained that carbon tetrachloride is not only hepatotoxic but also immunotoxic and depresses the immune response on all phases of its forming. Toxic liver affection leads to disbalance of phagocytosis function of the cells, which is followed by disturbance of both absorptive and germicide systems of polymorph-nuclear leucocytes. Liver affection by carbon tetrachloride mostly influences the condition of cellular component of the immune system, what is possibly connected with disturbance of synthesis of immunoregulating factors in liver.
