CORTICO-BASAL DEGENERATION: CHARACTERISTICS OF 5-PATIENTS COHORT

Specific features of a clinical picture of corticobasal degeneration (CBD) on an example of a population cohort from 5 cases are surveyed. The combination of akinetic rigid asymmetrical parkinsonism with focal dystonia, apraxia, mainly in the arm and the «alien hand» phenomenon is typical for this pathology. The diagnosis is based on the listed criteria and on negative reaction to levodopa preparations.
