INFLUENCE OF CEREBROSPINAL FLUID WATER COMPARTMENT ON LIPOPROTEINS PEROXIDATION

Modified two-compartment model of lipid peroxidation in human cerebrospinal fluid by free ions of cooper (II) and iron (III) in vitro is proposed for the studying of mechanisms of peroxidation and appearing of possible sources of oxygen radicals generation in Alzheimer’s disease.

The comparison of calculating results with experimental data on lag-time and peroxidation rate showed that proposed model was correct in limits of dispersion of experimental data and so can be used for studying unknown lines of CSF peroxidation.
