GERMANIUM WITH NICOTINAMIDE NEW COMPOUND INFLUENCE ON THE DIFFERENT FORMS OF THE SEIZURE SYNDROME

The comparative anticonvulsive effects of germanium with nicotinamide (MIGU-5), valproic acid and carbamazepine were studied on the model of pentylentetrazol- and picrotoxin-induced and maximal electroshock seizures. It was shown that MIGU-5 revealed anticonvulsive effects at maximal electroshock cramps, in conditions of pentylenterazol- but not picrotoxin-induced seizures.

A conclusion was made about the expedience of further research of MIGU-5 anticonvulsive effects.
