PATHOGENIC THERAPY OF THE BRONCHOOBSTRUCTIVE SYNDROME IN PATIENTS SUFFERING FROM PULMONARY TUBERCULOSIS

The results of monitoring the dynamics of clinicoroentgenological manifestations of tuberculosis in 158 firstly diagnosed patients have shown that supplementation of standard chemotherapy with the pathogenetic treatment of the bronchoobstructive syndrome using bronchodilators, corticosteroids, mucolytics according to indications facilitated the healing of caverns, resolution of bronchogenic dissemination foci and termination of intoxication 3–4 months earlier than in patients receiving only antimycobacterial therapy not combined with the pathogenetic treatment of the bronchoobstructive syndrome.
