PATHOGENETIC PARALLELS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF METABOLIC DISODERS IN HYPERTENSIVE PATIENTS

Insulin resistance is a central mechanism of evolution of metabolic syndrome. It is closely associated with cardiovascular risk factors, such as hypertension and dyslipidemia. Inflammatory processes in the development of these pathologic-al conditions are accompanied by a parallel increase in TNF-α. At the same time it is known that these patients have dysfunction of adipose tissue, hyperproduction of adipohormones, in particular, resistin. The authors of the article try to draw parallels between cytokine levels and hormone overproduction of adipose tissue in order to in-depth study of pathogenesis and their role in hypertension progressing.
