QUALITY OF LIFE AND ANXIETY IN PATIENTS WITH ESSENTIAL HYPERTENSION, CHANGES DUE TO TREATMENT

Physical, psychological and social aspects of life quality (LQ), anxiety levels in essential hypertensive patients (EH) as well as changes due to treatment were investigated. In EH patients increase in reactive and personal anxiety with prevalence of the latter, LQ indices become worse. Treatment didn’t influence significantly the personal anxiety, decreasing reactive anxiety; Physical, social and role-emotional activities rise, pain sensations reduce, vital activity improves in EH patients.
