ANTIOXIDANT AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTION OF THE INHIBITOR OF ELASTASE AT EXPERIMENTAL PARODONTITIS

The authors’ method of selection of Bauman-Byrk inhibitor (BBI) from soy beans is elaborated. BBI ables to reduce the activity of elastase, katepsines and other destructive proteases, it sharply increases at the development of inflammation in tissues. The prophylactic efficiency of BBI was researched at provoking parodontitis in rats by means of peroxidatic oil. The conducting of further researches with the purpose of creating medical protease inhibitor preparation is suggested.
