STUDY OF HEPATOPROTECTIVE PROPERTIES OF THE “ALTSINARA” DRUG UNDER CONDITIONS OF ACUTE HEPATITIS DEVELOPMENT IN RATS

The data on the experimental study of hepatoprotective activity of the drug “Altsinara”, tablets for oral use made by private joint stock company “Borshchagovsky KhPhZ” are presented.

It is shown that at acute liver carbon tetrachloride injury conditions in rats Altsinara has hepatoprotective effects of different severity in all studied doses of 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg, which manifests by decreasing the intensity of cytological, free radical and inflammatory-destructive processes in the liver tissue. The level of Altsinara hepatoprotective activity has a clear dose-dependent character. It was established the level ED50 for Altsinara on hepatoprotective activity — 59,6±8,3 mg/kg on the amount of active ingredients.

Thus, results of the study pointed that “Altsinara» is a promising drug that can be recommended for clinical use as hepatoprotective agent.
