THE STATE OF LIPIDPEROXIDE OXIDATION AND THE SYSTEM OF ANTIOXIDANT DEFENSE IN NEWBORNS SUFFERING FROM SEVERE RESPIRATORY FAILURE

45 newborns suffering from respiratory failure were examined for the activation of the processes of lipoperoxidation, nitroxigenation and antioxidant defense on the level of aerohematic barrier. It was found that in case of parenchymal respiratory failure the levels of nitrogen oxide increased in the lung expirates, which can be used to diagnose respiratory disorders of pulmonary origin.
