CASE OF LATE DIAGNOSIS OF OVARIAN APOPLEXY

This message describes a case of delayed diagnosis of ovarian apoplexy accompanying with hemoperitoneum up to 800 ml. Intensive conservative therapy undertaken within 5 days, has appeared inefficient. Ultrasonic research and diagnostic laparoscopy allowed with 100 % reliability to establish the correct diagnosis. Recovery of the patients with formation of hemoperytoneum more than 300 ml cannot be reached only by conservative methods of treatment. In a day after laparoscopy the patient was discharged to home.
