THE STATE OF OXIDIZING PROTEIN MODIFICATION UNDER CONDITIONS OF NEUTROPHILIC ACTIVATION IN NEWBORNS WITH ACUTE PULMONARY DISORDERS

52 newborns with acute pulmonary disorders were clinically examined concerning activity of neutrophilic blood granulocytes and the state of protein peroxide oxidation in the expiratory air condensate. The activation of blood neutrophils as well as accumulation of the products of oxidizing protein modification in newborns with acute pulmonary disorders were found.
