FUNCTIONAL ESTIMATION OF LUNG VENTILATION IN CHILDREN WITH BRONCHIAL ASTHMA REMISSION

Lung ventilation was assessed in children with bronchial asthma remission. The most sensitive spirometrical and oscillometrical indexes of external respiration in children were measured. Obstructive abnormalities of lung ventilation in distal segments were found. These abnormalities are related to severe asthma course. Proposed methods are effective. The routine evalution of external respiration in children with bronchial asthma makes possible to control disease course reliably.
