The analysis of main reasons of the protracted cough is conducted in 1522 children of different age groups. At most children main reason of the protracted cough is allergic pathology (almost 60%), while the remaining signs of respiratory infectious diseases, pathology of nasopharings and bronchitis cause the protracted cough only in 40% of children. In early age respiratory allergy, adenoiditis and bronchial asthma prevail. With age allergic and vasomotor rhinitis is the main reason of cough.
