INFLUENCE OF XAFUBEN ON ACTIVITY OF KININ SYSTEM PROTEOLYTIC ENZYMES AND CONTENTS OF PGE1 PROSTAGLANDINS IN BLOOD PLASMA

The influence of xafuben on activity of proteolytic enzymes of kinin system and contents of prostaglandins is investigated. It is established that xafuben inhibits the process of kininogenesis and in contrast to acetylsalicylic acid, prevents expenditure of kallikrein-kinin system components, as well as reduces contents of prostaglandins by 63.3% in comparison with experimental rats with carragenin edema of pad.
Obtained results allow to recommend xafuben for further study of its activity and safety and working up the dug for treatment of painful and inflammatory signs of various etiology
