IMBALANCE IN RAT HEMOSTASIS SYSTEM INDUCED BY METHIONINE LOADING AND PROPHYLACTIC ACTION OF VITAMINS В6, В9, В12

Influence of methionine loading (500 mg/kg of body weight) on hemostasis system was investigated. It was established that acute methionine hyperhomocysteinemia caused complex disturbance in hemostasis system which was a predictor of disseminated intravascular coagulation. Prophylactic administration of vitamins В6, В9, В12 decreased imbalance of sulfur-containing amino acids metabolism and prevented formation of hemostasis disturbance induced by methionine loading.
