The article presents the results of investigating the level of the hygiene of dental prostheses in the patients with schizophrenia, which were prepared different removable plate prostheses.
The obtained results testify that the mentally sick patients have a rather low level of hygiene of the oral cavity, which is connected to the basic disease and the wearing of removable denture.
Before the comparative characteristic the best level of hygiene was observed in patients with those combined — acrylic and nonacrylic dental prostheses.
