EFFICACY OF DIFFERENT METHODS OF TREATMENT OF CERVICAL LEUKOPLAKIA

Purpose and task of this work was to learn efficiency of medical treatment of different forms of leukoplakia with use of laser and radio wave coagulations in women of different age groups in combination with antibacterial and antiviral therapy.

Materials and methods. On the basis of study 2,470 protocols of colposcopic exams for the period of 2010–2013 cervical leukoplakia was revealed in 200 patients, they made up a group of own researches. Depending on the morphologically confirmed form of leukoplakia the patient were divided into two groups: 1st group (164 patients) with a simple cervical leukoplakia; 2nd group — 36 patients with verrucose cervical leukoplakia.

A high-intensive laser surgical device “Lika-Khirurg” (Cherkassy) was used as a source of laser radiation. For the radiosurgical treatment “Fotec E80M” device  (Ekaterinburg) was used.

Results. There was developed differential management: methods of destructive action on the uterine cervix — laser and radio wave coagulation, immune and antibacterial therapy. Antibacterial therapy was recommended in 100% cases in the 1st and 2nd groups. The obtained data revealed  that efficiency of developed medical schemes of different forms of cervical leukoplakia 97.1% in the 1st group and 94.4% — in the 2nd one.

Methods of determination of morphological indices of proliferative activity and quantitative indices of the viral loading were included in the complex diagnosis of different forms of cervical leukoplakia, which allows to define oncologic potential of the leukoplakia form. The greatest oncologic risk had the verrucose leukoplakia.
