A NEW METHOD OF ASSESSMENT OF HYPOGLYCEMIC THERAPY

The aim of present research was to study the comparative action of continuous subcutaneous insulin injection (CSII) and continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) on the level of glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1с) and on the inflammatory cytokine — tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α).

Usage of CSII in the patients with DM-2 provided subcompensation stage. Combination of CSII with CGMS in the patients with DM-1 and DM-2 allowed to reach recommended level of glycosylated haemoglobin — under 6,5%.

Implication of CSII and especially combination of CSII with CGMS in the patients with DM-1 and DM-2 significantly decreased level of TNF-α.
