COMPARATIVE STUDY OF PROTECTIVE EFFECT OF MAREPOLIMIEL, CYSTEINE AND ASCORBIC ACID IN MODELING DYSTROPHIC LESIONS OF THE RETINA AND VISUAL CORTEX

Pharmacobiological action of the known metabolic substances (ascorbic acid, cysteine and new polymicroelement preparation — marepolimiel) — on the thiols level under the metabolic abnormalities in the retina and visual cortex was presented. Metabolic substances were introduced prior to the toxic damage in the retina and visual cortex by monobromacetate. Effect of small doses of inhibitor reduced insignificantly the stimulatory effect of metabolic substances. The protective action of marepolimiel using monobromacetate was longer.
