THE EFFECT OF THE GA-40 MEDICATION ON THE COURSE OF HEPATORENAL SYNDROME IN THE POLYURIC STAGE OF SUBLIMATE NEPHROPATHY

In the experiments on 40 male albino nonlinear rats, weighing 0.16–0.18 kg, with hepatorenal syndrome in the polyuric stage of sublimate nephropathy a protective preventive effect of the GA-40 medication was detected and that is characterized by a restoration of the activity of alkaline phosphatase and succinate dehydrogenase in the cortical substance of the kidney and third functional zone of the hepatic lobule, an improvement of the chief energy-dependent process of the kidney — reabsorbtion of the sodium ions in the proximal and distal tubules of the nephron.
