ALLELIC POLYMORPHISM T3801C OF CYP1A1 GENE IN CHILDREN WITH ENVIRONMENTALLY DETERMINED DISEASE

The authors present the results of the study of T3801C of CYP1A1 gene polymorphism frequency in children with ecopathology living in polluted areas of Ivano-Frankivsk region. It was shown that the 3801TCCYP1A1 (χ2= 7,24, p<0,01) is associated with the formation and more severe occurrence of environmentally determined conditions in children living at the areas under anthropogenic load. The risk of predisposition to the development of ecopathology in heterozygous carriers (T/C) is doubled (OR=2.37; 95% CI: 1.25–4.47, p<0,01).
