The article represents the literature review dedicated to problem of polyetiology of sensorineural deafness. The influence of ototoxic drugs, professional harmfulness, radiation, hereditary, infectious, traumatic factors, autoimmune conditions, diseases of cardiovascular and vegetative nervous systems on the function of the cochlear apparatus are interpreted.
