The possibility of using of a ferment drug “Pepzim” is estimated as a symptomatic mean in complex therapy of chronic diseases of the alimentary system in children. The positive effect of pepzim on a cupping of the basic clinical signs of diseases accompanied by enzymatic disturbances is revealed. The assigning of pepzim as a replacing ferment therapy in view of absence in its structure of a lipolytic enzyme and low activity of proteolytic and amylolytic enzimes is not recommended.
