The paper presents the results of research on the effectiveness of enalapril usage in patients with mild forms of arterial hypertension depending on the C-reactive protein concentration.
It is established that patients in comparison with healthy people have got an elevated level of C-reactive protein, which has a direct correlation with a systolic pressure to a greater extent and with a diastolic arterial pressure to a lesser extent. Higher efficiency of the enalapril antihypertensive therapy is associated with an elevated (>3.0 mg/l) level of C-reactive protein.
