Statistical and spectral analysis of heart rate variability was done in 112 young males to estimate dependence of autonomic nerves regulation on hereditary predisposition to essential hypertension (EH). In 73 % of patients with labile hypertension and positive family anamnesis by EH sympathetic activity is not main mechanism in formation of hypertensive syndrome. It is necessary to increase number of patients and check the reproduction of results.
