In this work authors demonstrate experience of treatment of 42 children with injuries of the main vessels at different levels. In 32 cases the microsurgical technique for restoration of vessels was used. In 18 cases vessels were restored by reimplantation of the amputed segment. The remote results were satisfactory, the extremity was preserved in all children. Indications and criteria for performance of various kinds of operations are determined. It is necessary to remember the increased reparative processes of the children’s organism and possibility of the further growth of tissues and structures.
