The elaboration of the methods and means for prevention and treatment of influenza infection is the actual task for medical science and health care system. The results of the present study allow to state that unithiolum demonstrates sufficient antiviral activity both in vitro and in vivo. Also it inhibits the proteolysis increasing that takes place during virus-membrane interaction.
