A lecture is devoted to the problem of microbiological cleanness of medicinal plant raw material, and also phytopathogenic microorganisms and representatives of plants normal microflora. The sources of contamination of medicinal plant raw material, basic groups of phytopathogenic microorganisms and mechanisms of the diseases of plants caused by them, are considered. There is underlined the role of normal microflora in the vital functions of plants, and also value of microorganisms in spoilage of medicinal plant raw material and measures of struggle with them.
