The analysis and comparison of the lethality of patients with mental diseases in all institutions of Odessa and the region, and in psychiatric hospitals according to the data of the OOPAB, the Central Statistical Department, the Odessa Analytical Center of Medical Statistics, has been made. It was found out, that the majority of the patients with the mental pathology died outside of the specialized psychiatric hospitals, and alcoholic psychoses take the biggest part in the structure of lethality and mortality from mental diseases.
