Complications of chronic tonsillitis in patients suffering from chronic diseases of digestive system were characterized by mainly organs focal lesion and a latent course. They were divided into three types: infection-dependent, immuno-dependent and residual changes. In chronic diseases of hepatobiliary system the complication of chronic tonsillitis were met more often, especially of infection-dependent type — twice as much in comparison with the patients suffering from chronic diseases of gastroduodenal system. Obviously, diseases of the liver and biliary ways promote infectious immunity oppression in chronic tonsillitis.
