The results of the diagnosis and treatment of 65 children with lung echinococcosis are described. The first symptoms of the lung echinococcosis are non-specific, that causes the late diagnosis and high complication rate — 26.2 %. The screening ultrasonography is suggested for early diagnosis. The differentiated approach to the treatment of the lung echinococcosis in children, depending on the size and localization of the hydatid cysts, has been suggested.
