Retrospective analysis of tuberculosis incidence rate among Odessa students during the period of 1999 to 2004 shows its increase from 52.8 per 100,000 in 1999 up to 80.0 per 100,000 in 2004.
Social and information protection of students as well as chemoprophylaxis in risk groups will lead to a decrease of the tuberculosis incidence rate among students.
