The first results of the developed and grounded by an author program of medical and psychological support, which allows to form a realized motivation to treatment and self-control in patients suffering from ischemic heart disease, are presented in the article. The motivation is directed finally at the change of conduct and lifestyle, that stipulates the improvement of quality of their life. Development and introduction in clinical practice of the therapeutic education of patients make for strengthening of compliance, drawing in participating in exercise therapy and psychophysical gymnastics procedures, increase of efficiency of rehabilitation, primary and secondary prophylaxis of ischemic heart disease.
